To inaugurate the LocalEats community website, Teresa, living in London for nearly 4 years, has kindly shared with us her personal favourite restaurants in London.
Teresa’s Foodie Profile: International food
Her 5 best picks:
- The Breakfast Club
Located in several locations around London (Soho, London Bridge, Angel, Battersea, Hoxton…)
“Ideal spot for a lazy Sunday Brunch afternoon with your friends. The pancakes with berries are splendid with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. However, you need to be prepared to queue for awhile to get a table.”
I would also recommend the Eggs Benedict, it is to die for. Better yet, share the pancakes and the eggs with someone (Plan a nap after).
10 Paddington St, Marylebone, London W1U 5QL
“Greek tapas food (Mezedakia) with a twist. Very friendly environment and the food is delicious especially the Tarama and Kleftiko lamb (typical greek dish). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.”
- Flat Iron
Located in several locations around London (Soho, Covent Garden, Shoreditch)
“There is only one dish choice which is, of course, a flat iron steak accompanied with the side dish and sauce of your preference. Downside: no reservations taken.”
Upside: they offer you homemade ice cream!! I would recommend the spinach mixed with cream as a side.
3 Yeomans Row, London, SW3 2AL
“One of the best steakhouses. My favourite steak is chateaubriand with a creamy peppercorn sauce and some great side dishes. My favourites: triple cooked chips and mac & cheese.”
- Franco Manca
Located all across London and beyond
“Only the best pizza I’ve had in London so far. My favourite pizza is with cured organic chorizo and mozzarella.”
